Location: Morris Inn

Life Science Symposium Eventbrite Header

The Life Sciences Symposium is led and organized by graduate students in the Department of Biological Sciences. The purpose of this symposium is to provide opportunities for graduate students to interact with prominent scientists and to highlight the cutting-edge research being done on campus in addition to fostering collaborations that had not previously existed. The symposium has been generously supported by the Ar-Hale Family Foundation to promote biological inquiry and professional development of trainees.

The theme of our Inaugural Event, which will be held on October 11, 2017 at the Morris Inn, is “Biomedical Sciences: Bridging the Gap from Bench to Bedside.” The speakers will span a wide range of research topics within the realms of cancer, development, and regeneration.
