The goal of the CBEGSO Symposium is to provide CBE graduate students a forum to present their research, promoting intra-departmental collaborations, and networking with professionals from both industry and academia. Over the course of the day, students will showcase research from a wide range of disciplines, including energy and sustainablity, nano- and micro-fluidics, simulation and theory, materials science, nanotechnology, and bioengineering. The symposium will also feature an hour-long professional development panel discussion with department faculty, and alumni from the graduate program. The day will conclude with a closing reception, with awards given out to the best student presentations, as determined by faculty and industrial representatives serving as judges.
