Environment of tumors impacts metastasis, study finds

According to the study’s results, the microenvironment of a tumor cell has significant impact on cancer metastasis. Hummon receives ACS Rising Star Award

Amanda Hummon, the Husking Foundation, Inc. Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has received a 2016 Rising Star Award from the American Chemical Society’s Women Chemists Committee.
